We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in a corrections setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to inmates, including assessing their health, administering medications, and providing health education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse population. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to make a positive impact in the lives of those in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient's physical and mental health.
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Follow safety protocols in accordance with the correctional facility.
• Document patient's progress and treatment plans.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Perform medical screenings and assessments.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract, PRN

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Required)
