Job Description
Dakota Eye Institute is seeking a full-time Optometric Assistant to join our team in Bismarck!


Are you motivated, have an enjoyment for working with people, and looking for a new challenge?This could be the right fit for you!


In this role, you will be responsible for providing chair-side doctor assistance, performing diagnostic tests as required by physician and obtaining patient history to include chief complaint, history of present illness, past history (ocular and general), family history (ocular and general), and history of allergies and medications.


Essential Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Strong organization with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • Empathetic personality with concern for patient\'s needs
  • Two years\' experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of medical and ocular terminology preferred
