Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Operations Supervisor at our Float Glass Facility in Geneva, NY!

As an Operational Supervisor, you are responsible for developing your team into a high performing unit while advancing our vision and culture. You will do this by recognizing the unique skillset of your team members and aligning them in a way that creates personal fulfillment and value for the company. Our Team

You will join a team of diverse supervisors that collaborate on a daily basis strategizing our priorities for the day. The Operational Supervisors encourage a one team on the field mentality, paying particular attention to their direct reports and general attention the workforce. This unified but dynamic team encourage the challenge process, open and honest communication and expects leadership support and feedback.

What You Will Do

• Promote our self-driven safety culture
• Work hands-on with production and planning teams as needed to fulfill orders in a timely manner, escalate issues, and make decisions
• Ensure quality products are produced
• Partner with contractors and cross-functional teams
• Monitor production systems and enter data, correct errors, and control key screens
• Manage labor, prioritize projects and daily operations
• Coordinate production with 8-20 employees in a specified area
• Communicate effectively to meet deadlines, ensure follow up, and manage goals

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Supervisory experience

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with Continuous Improvement Events/Activities
• Manufacturing Experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Thin films experience

For this role, we anticipate paying $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
