Hines Supply, a Division of US LBM, Is Seeking an Operations Supervisor for Our Montgomery, IL Location.
Wage: $65,000 Salary
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-4pm, Saturday 8-12pm and as needed in summer

How you will spend your day as an Operations Supervisor :

• Responsible for the accurate communication on all deliveries to our customers and sales staff.
• Provide active support in inventory control by performing cycle counts, physical inventory, and related duties.
• Perform daily invoicing of sales orders and returns, communicating backorders or any unique situations to appropriate parties.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and yard, ensuring inventory is received, processed, and put away properly.
• Oversee 5-10 direct reports from our distribution and warehouse staff.
• Achieve KPI’s and required reporting related to logistics and fleet. Develop a full understanding of the systems used to monitor KPI’s and how they impact our business.
• Maintain all branch vehicles and equipment by addressing and problem solving all issues that arise, completing scheduled PM’s, and providing oversight into related expenses.
• Provide primary logistical support for the branch by actively planning daily delivery routes and monitoring their progress within our dispatch software.

Operations Supervisor Requirements

• Physical. Ability to stand for 8+ hours per work shift. Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach.
• Teamwork. Ability to work as a team and help motivate others.
• Experience. 6 months of previous experience in the building material industry. (Preferred)
• Excellence. Must have an excellent work ethic.
• Heavy Lifting. Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs throughout the work shift.
