: Salon Operations Manager


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Salon Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our salon, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional customer service. Your primary focus will be on managing staff, maintaining efficient workflows, optimizing resources, and implementing strategies to drive business growth and profitability. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in salon management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding salon experience.


Responsibilities:


Team Management:


  • Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance employee productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and ensure adherence to salon policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists and support staff.


Operations Management:


  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and systems to maximize productivity and minimize customer wait times.
  • Oversee all aspects of daily salon operations, including appointment scheduling, client flow management, and inventory control.
  • Document and automate all workflows and systems, maintain SOP
  • Manage salon budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as client retention, productivity, pre booking, service revenue/hr, service, and retail sales, and implement strategies to improve performance.
  • Ensure salon facilities and equipment are well-maintained and in compliance with health and safety regulations.


Customer Service and Satisfaction:


  • Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of professionalism and client care.
  • Develop and execute customer loyalty programs and promotional activities to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a client-focused approach, anticipate customer needs, and make recommendations for services and products.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.


Marketing and Business Development:


  • Stay updated with industry advancements, new techniques, and emerging trends, and recommend relevant improvements to salon services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and increase salon visibility.
  • Monitor market trends, analyze competition, and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Develop partnerships with local businesses and community organizations to expand the salon's network and clientele.


Requirements:


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Proven experience in salon or spa management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in salon software systems, scheduling tools, and Google Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of salon services, products, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering an outstanding salon experience.
