Job Description

Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about destigmatizing mental illness, understands the importance of mental health treatment, and believes in the power of storytelling to empower survivors and promote empathy.

Job description: This role needs someone who is organized, punctual, self-sufficient, and concise in their work. We are looking for a team member to process anonymous stories submitted to the Amare Outreach website. This is an administrative role dedicated to assisting the board with day-to-day tasks and needs an individual who is detail-oriented.

Roles of Position:

  • Read and review anonymous stories submitted to the Amare Outreach website
  • Assist the board with simple, daily priority tasks
  • Monitor the website for inappropriate story comments
  • Organize the stories within the Google Drive
  • Review stories for triggering details and errors
  • Recommend stories titles and influential quotes from the submission
  • Monitor social media for inappropriate interactions, such as spam comments
  • Organize Google Drive, check non-profit email, and review the website daily for new story submissions
