Job Description
Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Operations Associate, Events to join our remote team. The Operations Associate, Events will be responsible for supporting operations, processing, and casting. As the Operations Associate for the Events team, you will be tasked with overseeing logistics for event priorities, building processes, and finding efficiencies. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a start-up tech environment.

Responsibilities:
Partner with the Events and Bookings Team on onboarding and implementing new processes, training tools, and execution
Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and lead interviews for onsite event coordinators daily management of events schedule and assignment of OECs, managing relationships
Monitor event quality assurance reports & collaborate with other departments to continuously improve experiences as it relates to talent standards of performance
Partner with finance to process OEC invoicing and manage invoicing procedures with talent
Partnering with Visit.org teams to create processes based on Events and Bookings team and company priorities
Collaborate with departments to liaise and proactively work to find efficiencies for existing workflows and processes
Communicate new processes or changes to current processes with key stakeholders and make sure all workflows connect.
Create collateral and presentations that support the Events and Bookings department
Track, update, and report on Events and Bookings team KPIs
Multilingual a plus
Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to create structure in ambiguous situations
1-2+ years of event experience
Any experience in talent casting and people management experience is preferred
Experience working independently, collaboratively, and efficiently on concurrent projects
An eye for talent and understanding of what makes a great Event Coordinator
Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics
High energy and a positive attitude.
Leadership skills and the ability to resolve challenges quickly
Taskmaster: Ability to stay on top of things, multitask, and with quick response time
Proven ability to problem solve, anticipate obstacles, and proactively troubleshoot
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity and comfortability with communications tools like Slack
Adaptable personality
Brings a network of talent relationships
Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
