Our client, Allen Edwin Homes, Michigan’s #1 home builder is seeking to hire dynamic sales professionals for new home sales throughout Michigan. If you possess 3+ years of successful telemarketing/sales experience and want to take your sales career to the next level you need to contact us ASAP!


The Online Sales Advisor is tasked to convert active and passive prospects into home buyers via the company website, internet, past traffic, cancelled buyers and direct marketing initiatives. The Online Sales Advisor engages prospects in the process of buying a new home via e-mail and phone to establish the area, the community(s) and budget for their new home search. An appointment is then established with an onsite Sales Counselor to move the prospect to a homeowner.

What you'll do:


The internet is the #1 source for information and search for home buyers. It accounts for over 85% of the information a home buyer uses in their search. Through our World Class sales process, the Online Sales Advisor is responsible for achieving their annual sales objectives. Online Sales Advisor is responsible for assisting home buyers with the area they are looking for (currently serving buyers in Lansing, SE Michigan, Grand Rapids, Lake Shore ,Kalamazoo and Indiana), the community (over 100 communities currently to choose from) and their budget (understand mortgage programs and home buyer’s budget). Online Sales Advisor then sets up an appointment for the home buyer with one of our Sales Counselors. The Sales Counselor then owns the processing of all customers from sale to close.


Responsibilities:

  • Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 8 pm. (2 shifts -8:30 am to 4:30 pm and 12:00 to 8:00 pm)
  • Initiative: Knowing and doing what needs to be done before being asked to do it
  • Truthfulness: Earning future trust by accurately reporting past facts
  • Responsibility: Knowing and doing what both those in authority and others are expecting of me
  • Persuasiveness: Guiding vital truths around another’s mental roadblocks
  • Flexible Hours. Some weekend commitment is required. Hours of operation are:
  • Saturday/Sunday 10:00 am to 6:00pm.
  • Competitiveness: Making things happen that enable success
  • Customer Service: Warm and friendly phone presence and ability to persuade people via the phone.
  • Systematic execution of a Call Cycle to all incoming leads.
  • Execute various marketing programs to increase prospect pool including “How To Events” designed to help 1st time buyers, credit challenged buyers and targeted prospects on how to own a new home.
  • Online Sales Advisor accounts for nearly 1/3 of sales. The Online Sales Advisor team are “First Responders”. They engage prospects searching the internet, our website or driving through our communities and are responsible for setting appointments. Calls should and leads through the website and internet should be returned within 5 minutes for optimal capture.
  • Track and report all traffic and appointments.
  • Input and follow up with each prospect using Salesforce (or company Customer Relations Management – CRM tool) with up to date notes and contact made after each follow up conducted.
  • Knowledge and skills: Educated on the areas we build the communities we build in and the mortgage programs to better, more efficiently guide the homebuyer through the process of building a new home.
  • Employ a “Pre-call” and “Post-call” for each homebuyer to plan and strategize with the Sales Counselor for each home buyer.
  • Enthusiasm: Expressing with my attitude the joy of my heart


What You'll Need:


  • Passion to drive consumers to the communities and product that is right for them.
  • Big tickets Sales experience or Loan/Mortgage Finance Experience –
  • Sales of boats, cars, jewelry etc. is a plus
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Competency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. CRM training a plus.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience (internet and phone sales training). BA Degree is a plus.
