Job Description
We are looking for a customer-focused and skilled Online Chat Service Representative to join our team. As an Online Chat Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and assistance through our online chat platform. Your excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to customer satisfaction will be vital in creating a positive and seamless customer experience.


Responsibilities:


Online Chat Support: Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues through our online chat platform, providing accurate information, solutions, and assistance.


Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, building rapport and ensuring a personalized interaction.


Problem Resolution: Listen attentively to customer concerns, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective solutions, striving to exceed customer expectations.


Product Knowledge: Acquire a deep understanding of our products/services to provide detailed and accurate information to customers.


Order Assistance: Assist customers with order placements, modifications, tracking, and returns, ensuring a smooth order process.


Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers experiencing difficulties with our online platforms, applications, or products.


Issue Escalation: Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department for timely resolution while keeping customers informed of the progress.


Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication with customers, colleagues, and other teams to ensure efficient issue resolution.


Customer Feedback: Gather and relay customer feedback to relevant teams to contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.


Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, solutions provided, and follow-up actions taken for future reference.


Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred).


Proven work experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in online chat support or a related role.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


Typing proficiency and familiarity with chat software.


Empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries and concerns.


Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.


Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
