Job Description

A global food trading company in the area of Kent, WA is looking for an Office Manager. This position is responsible for day-to-day operation including supervising the office and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is Bilingual ( Japanese or any Asian languages and English) , has previous experience in supervising and training other employers, great communication skills. The previous experience in logistics or international trading industries are huge plus, but not required.


Responsibilities for Office Manager / HR Assistant:

  • Oversee day to day administrative operations
  • Ensure all the operation procedure and compliance is followed in office duties
  • Closely communicate with internal and external customers and ensure all enquiries are dealt accordingly
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manage Accounting, Inventory control, Human Resources, and other administrative functions
  • Coordinate office meetings accordingly


Qualifications for Office Manager / HR Assistant:

  • Strong Communication Skills
  • This position includes warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 20 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
  • 2+ years of experience in Management / Supervisory in administrative department including Accounting and Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Previous experience in international trading or distribution industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Bilingual skill in English / Japanese (Speak / Read / Write) JLPT test N2 or N1 preferred. However, if you speak conversational Japanese (JLPT N3 or N4), I still encourage to apply! or you speak any Asian language such as Chinese, Korean and etc...

Salary: $57,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
