Job Description
Southwest Foodservice Excellence is looking for a motivated professional possessing a very strong work ethic and genuinely appreciates their role & responsibility as an experienced Office Manager (or comparable title with similar responsibilities) who wants a lucrative opportunity with a quickly growing company.
Southwest Foodservice Excellence currently specializes only in K-12 Child Nutrition, ensuring school lunches across the nation are nutritionally sound, tasteful to the palette, and beautiful to the eye. We are a unique breed of food service experts who strive to utilize our knowledge to build a Senior Foodservice workstream to deliver the same high quality great tasting food to mature adults. The Vice President of Operations will build and lead a team with an aim of driving value through leadership, financial insight and innovative Senior foodservice business strategies.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, The Office Manager will be the first person our clients see when they come into our office, and the first person they talk to when they call the office. We strive to deliver an extraordinary level of client service and that starts with this position.

They must be able to multitask while remaining organized and on schedule.
This position will act as the Company’s Office Manager ensuring that the day-to-day operations are kept in order. In addition, this position will provide direct support to the Chief People Officer as well as lightly support the various business units within the Company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Outlook for mailbox & calendar management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining a file management system, electronically and manually (if/when necessary).
  • Full-time 40 hours per week.
  • Receiving clients and visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming them, and making sure they are well taken care of as soon as they set foot through our doorway.
  • Assisting with company events such as the annual holiday party, happy hours, executive meetings, etc.
  • Office inventory management- beverages, office supplies, cleaning supplies, etc.
  • Booking domestic travel and assisting with other travel related needs.
  • Comfortable communicating with people at all levels of the organization, and with a variety of personalities.
  • Prepare and process office maintenance requests.
  • Developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures and task delegation.
  • Administrative support to the office
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls.
  • Sending mail, Fedex, and UPS – assist others with shipping and mailing needs.
  • Receiving, sorting and delivering mail daily.
  • Ensuring the reception area, workspaces and client meeting spaces are clean, tidy, and presentable.
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift/Carry 25 lbs on occasion.
  • Works in the office. Not remote eligible.
  • Excellent organizational skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop frequently lift up to 25 pounds
  • Be able to and work behind a desk for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
