Join our team as a Occupational Therapist within our Inpatient Occupational Therapy department at Scripps La Jolla. This energetic team functions in a very collaborative way, both within their team of experienced therapists and inter-disciplinarily with other teams as well. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and develop their skills while maintaining a patient-centered approach to the care they provide.

The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. Performs competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age specific care as established for area and job title.

This is a casual position and is located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.

Requirements:

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California
• Current BLS Certificate
• Graduate from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy

Preferred Experience:

• At least one year of experience as a Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting
