Physical Therapist Non Exempt, UHS Wilson Medical Center United Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Non Exempt to join our WMC Physical Therapy department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This is a Per Diem position. Day 0 $37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience. Physical Therapist Non Exempt / Overview Ensures that Physical Therapy services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. Provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments for hospital based inpatient and/or outpatient services, as well as associated clinical documentation. Maintains specific service delivery standards which address commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality process, communication and interaction standards, turn-around time and information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and physical amenities/environment of care.

• Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, receiving applicable degree in physical therapy study with Bachelors or Master’s Degree or equivalent.

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree; Previous physical therapy experience in a hospital based setting.

• CPR certification within the first 3 months of hire.
• Possession of a current license or eligibility to be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York.

• Work is performed in a department which consists of several clinical rooms and offices, and sometimes requires working in close quarters with other employees. These rooms are all air conditioned as well as heated. Work may also be performed in patient rooms throughout the hospitals or at an offsite location, as determined by contractual services.

• As needed, gloves, mask, gown, other personal protective equipment, as per blood and body fluid and isolation precautions. Off-site locations may require safety goggles, ear plugs, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, or other personal protective equipment required by the off-site location.
