REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current CPR (or attained within 3 months of employment).
• Listed with DHSR Nurse Aide Registry as Nursing Assistant I or II

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous hospital NA experience

Performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services in caring for personal needs and comfort of patients. Works under the direction of the registered nurse. Some moving, lifting and positioning of patients as well as pushing and pulling of wheelchairs and stretchers along with additional equipment. Assigned patients may be from neonate through geriatrics. Involves clerical duties in relation to monitoring the cameras to observe for any breach in security, control of locked doors-visitor access into the Birthing Center. Required to collect ID’s from visitors and issue badges. Must accurately log visitor’s entrance and exit from the unit, including badge numbers assigned and returned.
