What: We are looking for caregivers to help care for clients (mainly fragile, ill, disabled, and/or elderly), one-on-one, in their homes. We hire nursing students, State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs),

• Anyone else with a heart & desire to care for others, who are willing to learn & become a professional caregiver.
• OR

When: Short shift, long shifts, morning shifts, afternoon shifts, part-time hours, or full-time hours. We currently have them all!
Where: Clients are located throughout eastern Eastern Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Northern Portage, and Northern Summit Counties.
Pay: Starting at $15.25 per hour

How: Apply online and then check your email. A Skills Survey will be sent to you with a list of true or false questions. Please answer true or false to each question and then hit submit. Once we receive your answers, we will reach out to you by email about the next step in the hiring process.

Qualifications

• 18 years or age or older
• Ability and willingness to complete online continuing education training classes (8 hrs of training required per year)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred but not required). We'll train, if you're willing to learn!
• Willing to drive to client's homes, up to 30 minutes away
• Reliability: Professionalism and discipline to arrive to clients' homes, on time, every time
• Good interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare meals and/or assist with feeding
• Light housekeeping & laundry
• Run errands for the client or accompany them to successfully do so
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, preventing falls, etc.)
• Keep the clients engaged in favorite activities and conversation
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, such as showering, bathing, toileting, incontinence care, grooming, and dressing
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist them with monitoring vitals
