Responsibilities

The Nurse Recruiter is responsible for recruiting registered nurses and licensed practical nurses for the assigned region and assisting with the development of strategic nurse recruitment plans. In collaboration with regional leadership, local CNOs and human resources leadership the Nurse Recruiter will achieve talent acquisition through the development of recruiting and selection strategies for sourcing that address the current and future workforce needs at the hospitals within the region. Promotes Prime Healthcare as a region to gain brand recognition. With an emphasis on relationship building, Nurse Recruiter maintains high visibility with local community and academic resources through participation in and/or organizing key events to develop an ongoing candidate pipeline for sourcing. The Nurse Recruiter sources candidates using appropriate resources sources and screens candidates to ensure minimum qualifications are met for assigned job openings. Coordinates with other human resources staff and hiring managers to ensure timely interviews, coordinating and tracking activities. Assists in Identifying and evaluating new search mediums (sites + systems).

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, healthcare related, or business preferred.
2. Two years of talent acquisition experience which includes experience sourcing, screening and interviewing nursing candidates required.
3. Experience developing and negotiating job offers.
4. Experience with electronic applicant tracking systems.
5. Experience using a variety of sourcing techniques to attract active and passive candidates.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required.
7. Demonstrates positive interpersonal and effective communications skills.
