Nurse Practitioner Placement Specalist

The person will be responsible for collaborating with students to identify and secure preceptors for the Family Nurse Practitioner program. Six weeks prior to the end of each semester, the liaison will work to ensure that any student who has been unsuccessful in securing a preceptor, has an appropriate preceptor prior to the beginning of the next semester [e.g., a student 6-weeks from completing the fall semester has not secured a preceptor for spring]. Once all the information above is complete, the liaison will send the appropriate SON administrative associate including the name and address of the clinical site, preceptor information, the number of clinical hours associated with the rotation, and a curriculum vitae for each preceptor and student.
