We are growing and expanding our services and are seeking a highly motivated experienced Nurse Practitioner to work part-time (25 hours per week) in our Walk In Care clinic.
The Nurse Practitioner will triage, treat and assess patient care needs.
This Provider will provide services by performing the following duties:
- Treat or make recommendations for follow up care by one of the PCI specialists if applicable.
- Performing and documenting a clinically appropriate physical examination of each patient.
- Performing and ordering clinically appropriate procedures for each patient and documenting same;
- Completing medical record documentation and billing entries in a timely and appropriate fashion
- Analyzing reports and findings of tests and clinical examinations in order to assess the medical condition of each patient, including formulating a diagnosis of the injury or illness and documenting same in conformity with applicable professional standards, third party payor requirements and PCI policies and procedures.
- Obtain and record assessment of each patient including but not limited to the patient’s chief complaint, a review of systems, the patient’s past medical history and the patient’s family history.
Must be able to provide the highest level of service to patients, physicians, and all practice personnel. Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate professionalism in image and demeanor. Computer literacy, technical and clinical competency, and attention to detail are required.
PCI is E.O.E. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required. PCI is a tobacco free work environment. Will be subject to PCI’s vaccination and testing policy.
