Nurse Faculty (Pell City Campus)

Salary: Based on education and experience commensurate with Alabama Community College System Salary Schedule D1 ($44,780-$87,562). This is a nine-month position. Summer employment may be available (an additional $13,825-$27,081) dependent upon enrollment.

This position includes all responsibilities outlined in the Instructor as well as the additional responsibilities stated below related to classroom and clinical instruction of nursing students.

• Master of Science in Nursing degree
• Current license in good standing to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Alabama
• A minimum of three years of experience in clinical nursing practice preferred. Evidence of current expertise in nursing education.
• Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation at the health care provider level required from American Heart Association

• Auditory ability is sufficient to communicate effectively with others, to monitor and assess patient status, and to fulfill clinical responsibilities.
• Communication abilities are sufficient to convey thoughts in verbal and written forms so that they are understood by others.
• Visual ability is sufficient to monitor and assess patient status and to fulfill clinical responsibilities.
• Fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination are sufficient to safely fulfill clinical responsibilities.
