agilon health is seeking to hire a New Product Development Director.
This posiition will be reporting to the Senior Vice President of Partnership Development, will lead strategy, structuring, and execution of innovative partnership models that support agilon’s business and partnership development activities.
This role is fully remote and can be based out of anywhere in the USA.
This individual will identify and evaluate market opportunities for new partnership models, assess their economic impact to relevant stakeholders, and oversee the execution and implementation of those models.
The successful candidate is an independent, analytical, and intellectually curious individual who can take initiative, work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, structure innovative transactions, and articulate findings to a wide range of business stakeholders, including senior leadership throughout the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Compile and synthesize large amounts of data.
  • Work cross-functionally to design, evaluate, and implement new partnership structures
  • Maintain pipelines, process timelines, and checklists to manage projects through to completion
  • Utilize data, research, and market feedback to drive strategic decisions on where to focus efforts
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including complex operating and scenario analyses
  • Evaluate potential new collaboration opportunities; prepare financial models summarizing projected near-term and longer-term financial impact of potential transactions
  • Build presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors and provide analyses and recommendations to assist with strategic decision-making
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
  • Experience building business plans and financial analyses that demonstrate the strategy and economic impact of new products and projects
  • Power user of Excel; capable of building robust and detailed financial models.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, work under pressure to meet time deadlines, and work independently without close supervision
  • Possess sound business judgment and works with a sense of urgency
  • Adaptability to working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and be capable of breaking down highly complex problems and large amounts of data in order to synthesize them into a coherent strategy and financial models
  • Strong communication skills; ability to present findings and recommendations to a wide range of constituents verbally and/or in presentation formats
  • Ability to translate results into crisp presentations to senior management; fluency in Powerpoint.
  • Lead due diligence on new model opportunities, including evaluation of financial and market data for incorporation into assessments and recommendations
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Experience
  • At least 4 years of healthcare services, managed care and /or physician group industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 6 – 8 years of experience in management consulting, corporate development, strategy, or new product development
Education/Licensure:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or related advanced education in health management highly preferred

Pay Range:
$153,000.00 - $191,300.00
Salary range shown is a guideline. Individual compensation packages can vary based on factors unique to each candidate, such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
