Job Description

  • Assist with balancing
  • Enter new hires Salary control sheet
  • Request any and all missing documents from Human Resources
  • Deadline driven
  • Communication skills
  • Perform basic arithmetic calculations
  • Ensure that retirees are setup appropriately
  • General math skills
  • Ensure that the W4 form is complete and accurate before entering in E Finance.
  • Skills to operate standard office equipment including use of computer applications
  • Confidentiality
  • Previous payroll software experience a plus
  • Print all new hire paperwork received from Human Resources.
  • Basic math skills
  • Ensure the employee is setup accurately based on eligibility for TRS or the Alternative retirement deductions
  • Organizational skills
  • Data entry skills
  • Ten-key calculator skills
  • Ensure that SS-1945 form is copied and mailed to First Financial
  • Familiarity with financial software
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ensure state and local days are entered in E Finance in accordance with schedule and if applicable.
  • Accurate calculations and data entry required
  • Process employee pending status
  • High School graduate or GED from an accredited institution
  • Use English in both written and verbal forms
  • Verifying that all documents are received in the folder.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Calculate Gross salary based on the number of days in the contract or days working
  • Use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • 2 years job-related experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ensure that Direct deposit form accompanies a voided check or a bank information form.
