Itron's West Union, SC site which is closely located to the beautiful and academically acclaimed Clemson University campus, as well as our Raleigh , NC site, is seeking a Hardware Electrical Engineer who is seeking a challenging role with purpose. This important role serves as a central resource for design, process, manufacturing, test, and quality with responsibility in investigation and application of new technologies and industry trends to product management activities. One of the key responsibilities and impact this individual will have is to ensure the products shipped meeting the specifications and quality goals of the customer and Itron standards.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand product metrology requirements, including internal specifications and applicable industry standards

• Develop PCBA schematics using commercial components and custom PCBs for rigorous environmental conditions and adhering to mechanical constraints

• Conduct and participate in design reviews

• Troubleshoot, support, and improve existing PCBAs
