WHO WE ARE

We are a neuroscience lab at Cornell University that has generated two well-funded

start up companies in New York City – one that develops new kinds of prosthetic

devices, and one that develops new kinds of smart robots. The lab develops the ideas,

and the companies take what’s learned in the lab and use it to develop solutions to real

world problems.Our work has been featured on the Discovery channel, in two TED

talks, a BBC documentary, a Bloomberg documentary, inScientific American, Wired,

Discover Magazine, National Geographic, and many others.For more detail on the

POSITIONS AVAILABLE

We currently have positions open for scientists and engineers in the company that

develops prosthetic devices: https://www.bionicsightllc.com/ The company is currently

running its first clinical trial, and the focus of the work is on the development and

advancement of devices for treating blindness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of B.S. in neuroscience, statistics, physics, or other math-utilizing fields; PhD preferred
• Proficient in Python and C++

Other valuable qualities:

• Industry experience
• Team player, good colleague, and excited to develop technology that helps patients
• Intellectually inclined
• Scientific training (postdocs with programming skills are particularly welcome!)
