Network Security Engineer
Duration: Long Term
Location: NYC- Locals only (Needing somebody to work 3-11pm EST)
Visa: Any

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide second and third level support for all Firewall and F5 systems.
• Administrative support for F5 BIP-IP/ASM? GTM environments per hospital standards.
• Perform routine maintenance functions for all systems including OS upgrades, hardware fixes, etc.
• On Call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
• Maintain and organize reporting information and documentation for Management review
• Evening and weekend work on occasion.
• Daily Maintenance and checks of all Firewall and F5 related equipment.
• Implement and support multi-vendor Firewall platforms featuring Palo Alto series Firewalls and Cisco ASA.
• Maintain both high level and detailed levels of documentation as required for all Palo Alto, F5 and Gigamon environments.
• Support Service requests on multiple Network security systems platforms

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years working with F5 LTM
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify the cause of an
• Dependable.
• At least 7 years working with Network Firewalls / Palo Alto NGFW experience is preferred.
• Ability to focus, manage your time and your work, and get things done quickly, efficiently, and completely.
• Experience and desire to work in a team environment with other engineers.
• Issue and determine a solution.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
