Network Engineer Jobs

Description: Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software and all networking configurations. Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software. Diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve hardware, software or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards. Plan, coordinate and implement network security measures to protect data, software and hardware. Configure routers including upgrading interface, routing configuration and implement Internet and VPN firewall cutover. Configure network interfaces, static routes, NAT rules in panorama and VM-300 series Palo Alto firewalls and Websense proxies. Configure Site-to-Site VPN connections (IPsec/GRE tunnels, DMVPN) to support diverse network connections to extranet clients.

Required: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications or a related field, or its equivalent, related to this field of work and the necessary competencies.
