Ent Network Engineer Ii

Major/Essential Functions
Provides design, implementation, operation, maintenance, repair, and support of enterprise networks and network components. Directly supports centralized enterprise IT / AV systems.
Works with supervisors, subordinates, other staff to insure the operation of the enterprise network. Responsible for configuring and maintaining all network equipment and related servers. Responsible for diagnosing and solving communication problems. Responsible for prototyping, testing, and certifying communications processes and services. Responsible for training and supervising junior staff. Assist with project management. Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of classroom and laboratory Audio-Visual equipment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus one (1) year related full-time paid experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field and one-year documented qualifying experience in related field. One-year experience in an educational/medical setting. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers. Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making techniques.
