Job Description
We Are Hiring:
  • Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday 8am-5pm CT
  • Location: Remote
  • Department: Security
What You Will Do:

The Network Cybersecurity Senior Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and protecting Ascension's networks from cyberthreats. They will use their advanced knowledge of network security to identify vulnerabilities and implement preventative measures. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for responding to security incidents and working with the team to develop strategies to prevent future attacks. They will work closely with other members of the cybersecurity team to ensure Ascension’s data is secure and compliant with Ascension standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify vulnerabilities and implement preventative measures
  • Respond to network security incidents and develop strategies to prevent future attacks
  • Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity and network teams to ensure Ascension’s network is secure and compliant with standards
  • Monitor and protect the Ascension’s networks and systems from cyberthreats
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a network security role.
  • Expertise in network security and an understanding of other areas of cybersecurity such as application security and cloud security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.

Work Experience:
  • Experience working a regulated industry, such as healthcare, is a plus
  • Experience with ForeScout is a plus
What You Will Need:
Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
