Job Description
Title: .NET Developer
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Remote) Contract

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed accounting of hours worked by tasks monthly or as directed by the Department.
  • Develop a test plan for each assigned support ticket to meet user-defined requirements upon completion of all work for the assigned support ticket.
  • Perform testing on system changes by executing test scenarios as directed in the assigned support ticket. Record the test results, defects, and resolution of defects in the support ticket.
  • Promote code modifications from the Development Environment into the Test Environment following the BSCIP Software Promotion Procedures document, using approved Department software, and as directed by the Department.
  • Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams and internal stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status weekly or as directed by the Department.
  • Perform research to determine recommended plan for correcting issues or implementing proposed user modifications as directed by the Department in the assigned support ticket. Document findings in the support ticket.
  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business program staff, following the BSCIP Software Application Testing Procedures document, as directed in the assigned support ticket or prior to a promotion of code to the Production environment. Document findings in the support ticket.
  • Provide analytical research and complete tasks as directed by the Department.
  • Meet with the project team and other Department staff to manage tasks and deliverables weekly or as directed by the Department.

Qualifications

  • 5+ yrs of experience with MS Visual SourceSafe or Team Foundation Server or Git.
  • 3+ yrs of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • 5+ yrs of experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, triggers, DTS packages, scheduled jobs, and linked servers.
  • 5+ yrs of experience in the collection and analysis of data and software process evaluation and improvements.
  • 2+ yrs of experience supporting and utilizing TEAMS, Skype, and/or webinar tools.
  • 5+ yrs of experience with .NET Web Application Development in ASP.NET MVC using VB.NET and JavaScript.
  • 2+ yrs of experience with case management software.
  • 5+ yrs experience with Application and Business Requirements Analysis.
  • 2+ yrs of experience with government or health industry software.
  • 5+ yrs of experience with determining and documenting user requirements.
  • 2+yrs of experience with Red Gate SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare.
  • 5+ yrs of experience writing test cases / scripts.
  • 5+ yrs of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database.
  • 5+ yrs of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
  • 5+ yrs of experience with data design/modelling and performance tuning.
  • 5+ yrs of experience with SQL relational databases.
