The Wealth Management Business Development & Field Training organization supports the Firm’s Financial Advisors by managing the field sales support of non-banking products and the business development functions for our branch network.

The National Sales, Strategic Initiatives team, is looking for a highly motived individual to focus on developing, coordinating and executing strategic initiatives across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing strategic and analytical frameworks to drive changes across our sales and distribution channels
  • Supporting product sales teams in developing and implementing effective FA segmentation strategies
  • Conducting efficacy analyzes to determine the success and impact of various focus initiatives
  • Implementing tactical solutions to achieve desired growth and sales objectives
  • Supporting the Salesforce CRM dashboard and reporting process to ensure visibility into team activity
  • Interacting with a broad range of cross functional business partners and the Field to gather buy-in across key stakeholders
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process
  • Preparing presentations and communications for senior management
  • Monitoring Wealth Management and Asset Management industry trends and competitive developments

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Undergraduate degree required
- 6 - 10 years of experience within financial services, wealth management, and/or business strategy/analytics functions
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to define complex business problems, synthesize data, and provide and execute on tactical and strategic solutions
  • Capable of building data / financial models
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and work ethic
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 105000 and 135000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
