Our National Brand Ambassador - Field Manager will partner with our client’s retail program to manage the store relationships, drive awareness, implement initiatives, collect and communicate market intelligence and increase sell-outs across territories. The NBM is responsible for mentoring and training sales reps. The role is expected to be a champion of the current process and must be a process innovator throughout the organization while providing a high level of service to client representatives and co-workers and assisting the organization in achieving a service excellence culture.
Primary Duties:
- Connect with local retail partner stores, and field and district management to identify regional training opportunities. Deliver associate training within the assigned territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client field leadership and retailer field leadership and associates within assigned territory
- Support strategic initiatives and marketing programs
- Ensure and promote strong relationships with the field team and Regional Leadership to ensure communication continuity and adoption of all directives
- Execute action plans at territory and store levels with a focus on driving increased sales, market share, store mind share, and sell-out performance
- Build and lead a team of Brand Ambassadors to deliver sales and brand awareness for new clients in Big Box retailers
- Influence Regional, District, and Store leaders to support share increase and sell-out strategies within their assigned territory locations
- Respond to retailer issues and concerns in a timely manner
- Train, educate, and motivate appropriate store personnel on product features, customer benefits, and overall value proposition
- Meet or exceed brand visual presence objectives by maintaining the physical presence of display models in assigned retail locations
- Store Support (In-Person and Virtual) of the Brand Ambassador team including below-
- Ensure the development and maintenance of strong relationships with all vendors. This includes the adoption of all pertinent product knowledge and promotional activity.
Qualifications:
- Negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, understanding of how to develop and maintain business relationships
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel when required
- 3-5 years of training, sales, account management, retail management experience, or related experience
- Proven record as a leader and manager
- Proven self-starter
- Ability to incent and drive sales reps to perform and deliver client expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, for writing, speaking, listening, and presentations
- Basic analytical skills
- Critical thinking ability, connecting pieces of information together across varied data sources
Working Conditions:
- 40%-50% travel required
- This position is remote
