Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager (NAM) to join our team at Onduline. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our diverse range of roofing panels and related products through large multi-location building material and agricultural distribution channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, strong relationship-building skills, and experience working with national accounts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor competitive situations and develop and implement aggressive plans to defend and grow our market position.
  • Travel approximately 50% to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales to drive sales programs with assigned national accounts.
  • Promote and sell Onduline's roofing panel products and services through large multi-location building material and agricultural distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Logistics, Marketing, Procurement, Operations, and Credit teams to support assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to support current business and create targeted growth strategies to increase sales revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor and recommend product mixes at assigned national accounts, reviewing monthly reports and reporting progress to key account and Onduline leadership.
  • Develop KPIs, coach, mentor, and educate internal sales and operations teams as to the specific needs of the assigned national accounts.
  • Negotiate annual buying agreements and price increases and communicate results accordingly.
  • Create, maintain, and execute new National Account plans, including target account prospects, sales cycle plans, project revenue, project decision dates, and project implementation/first service dates.
  • Plan and execute market shops and develop detailed reporting and action plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers and influencers inside national accounts.
Requirements
  • Exemplary organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth, and hands-on environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more.
  • Exhibited proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Legal ability to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Proven experience with all aspects of selling and servicing the distribution channels described above, with a successful track record of closing and servicing large multi-location accounts.
  • Exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience and a proven track record in the building material or agricultural industry, preferably with National Account responsibility.
