Role Description

We are looking for a seasoned Mobile Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, remote role. The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. Our apps are built with React Native with a thin native layer. The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting mobile applications. The Mobile Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring that the mobile applications are optimized for performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must demonstrate strong prior experience (4+ years) building mobile applications with React Native launched on both iOS and Android.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with mobile application development, including UI/UX design, coding, debugging, and testing
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology
• Experience building automated unit, integration, and e2e tests for mobile apps.
• Bonus: Experience in building applications for healthcare tech companies.
• Bonus: Knowledge of libraries and frameworks such as: Jotai, Sendbird, Auth0, Detox, Tailwind, Native Base
• Knowledge of Git version control system, Git Actions, Git CI/CD pipeline
• Must be able to provide 2 references (1 manager, 1 peer) from prior job experiences who can speak to the above mentioned qualifications.
• Experience with mobile application optimization for performance and scalability
• Must have Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science or related field
