Sr. Mobile Applications Softwre Engineer (Remote)

Our client in Silicon Valley is pioneering ultra-cutting-edge technologies in the medical implants industry. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in either native and/or cross-platform Mobile Application Development to design and implement mobile and touchpad applications for Android, iOS, and Windows platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with BA and QA to identify and fix defects
• Work with internal teams and vendor teams and lead the Mobile App development effort
• Engineer and code Mobile/Touchpad Apps for iOS and Android utilizing either native and/or cross-platform dev environments such as Flutter, MAUI, Xamarin, React Native, or similar
• Engineer and code high quality, secure, scalable, extensible, and efficient Mobile Apps utilizing industry best practices and regulations
• Be the go-to source for mobile application development, management & guidance
• Collaborate with other engineers to write testable, reliable code, continuously deploying to production systems
• Integrate Mobile Apps with third party applications, cloud hosts and hardware devices utilizing secure protocols and procedures
• Perform Unit testing prior to delivering builds to the Testing team
• Adapt to evolving requirements/features/components while working closely with stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience developing both Android and iOS apps
• Experience working with Agile concepts
• Comfortable communicating and/or presenting in front of all levels of the organization
• Familiarity with fast-paced environments and ability to manage ambiguity
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 5-10+ years’ experience working in the Application Software industry
• Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams

NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in medical devices, pharma, or other life sciences regulated industry.
• Experience in an ISO 13485 and/or IEC 62304 and/or CMMI regulated environment.
• Experience in designing and/or architecting systems
