Mid- Level Electrical Engineer


Manassas, VA


Contract to Direct Hire


Underwater, on the Ocean Surface, or on Land

Moseley Technical is proud to support this innovative engineering partner specializing in software and hardware solutions for acoustics, cybersecurity, weapon launch and control systems, surveillance, complex multi-tiered architectures, artificial intelligence, and machine learning for our National Defense.

Responsibilities


  • Generate design and interface documentation
  • Design cable assemblies
  • Develop test criteria and assist in the design of test systems
  • Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer
  • Develop new electronics in the form of PCB designs and corresponding tests
  • Perform component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions to design hardware and electronics based on commercial and industry components and technologies
  • Analyze and design analog and digital electronic circuits including analog signal conditioning, DC-DC power conversion, and communication interfaces
  • Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardware


Qualifications


  • 3 to 10 years of technical experience to become an integral member of the engineering team dedicated to the development of military-grade electronics and electronic warfare (EW) systems.
