Role Summary

MetaPhase is seeking a Management Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to be a part of a Federal team supporting the Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans (SPP) within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This team works closely together to provide program management support for CISA organizational transformation related activities including robust governance processes, technical writing, reporting, and task management.

The candidates considered for this role will be responsible for supporting a successful implementation of CISA’s management standards, support services, and operations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Support internal process, structure, and standards to ensure more streamlined material production across the team
• Provide enterprise-level recommendations and advice to be consumed by senior leaders
• Manage problem-solving to provide customized business-focused objective advice, expertise and specialist skills to create value and improve business strategy, internal processes, and performance.
• Oversee the development of procedural documentation by preparing, revising, and delivering documents addressing various subjects of strategic policy and planning for senior leadership review
• Intake complex concepts and solutions and translate them into multiple types of documents, including but not limited to: policies, plans, requirements, diagrams, operating procedures, and reports
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

In order to execute these duties effectively, individual must be able to:

• Develop, edit, and deliver high-quality documentation paying strict attention to detail
• Support communications between internal and external stakeholders
• Apply strong communication skills to build relationships, connect people, and support team members
• Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

What We Need From You (Required)

• U.S. citizenship required (no exceptions)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, project management and/or operational process improvement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Adobe, and other relevant tools with strong research experience

Bonus Points (Desired)

• Experience and knowledge of policy documents structure and content within the Federal government (DHS experience preferred); particularly for management controls, and management support services (e.g., human resources, administrative services, audits, etc.) is a strong plus
• Federal consulting experience (experience at DHS - Department of Homeland Security is a strong plus)

Minimum Bachelor's degree in public policy, government, communications or public affairs, English, business and administration or related field (Masters highly preferred)

Clearance Level

This position requires DHS clearance “suitability” (ability to obtain) and/or US security clearance at the “Secret” level or above
