We're looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator-Welder to join our team of makers, creators and innovators. At Digifabshop, you’ll use your expertise in metal work and fabrication techniques to create objects that will live in some of the most high-profile spaces in the world.

The Metal Fabricator-Welder position is responsible for cutting, bending, welding, and grinding of a variety of metals to carry out the shop’s metal fabrication requirements such as:

• Use of band saw, cold saw, and other saws to cut a variety of metal stock down to specified measurements.
• Perform a variety of secondary processes including but not limited to: degreasing, deburring, grinding, and finishing.
• Assemble and fasten fabricated and welded metal parts according to oral instructions, written instructions, or shop drawings.
• The use of CNC Press Brake for precise production and custom bending applications.
• The use of TIG and MIG welding processes to precisely and effectively join metal stock.
• Interpret shop drawings and blue prints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
• The use of Oxy-Acetylene torch to make accurate custom bends in metal stock.

This position is located in Albany, NY – onsite work is required.
