Welder/Fabricator

Summary: This position may be in the creation of new structures or repair existing ones. The Welder/Fabricators are part of a team of other skilled workers, however, their duties are often performed with minimal supervision so Welder Fabricators must be comfortable working independently in a factory setting.

Essential Functions: QC at the source / check your work before moving on to next routing Enforce the safety standards and policies for the fabrication department Willing to cross train in other work centers as needed Ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications Prior experience in a similar role desired Knowledge of welding processes such as TIG/MIG; Stainless & Aluminum preferred Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications Ability to use variety of tools and equipment Strong attention to detail Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude Knowledge of industry safety practices

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting or standing for long periods of time Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
