Sheet Metal Fabricator Jobs

RMS Owego MTA is seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to support our production manufacturing facility whose mission is to fabricate machined and formed parts needed for the success of our armed forces both at home and abroad. The Owego MTA is instrumental in the production of various components utilized on helicopters, radar systems, and electronic warfare systems that are vital to the success of our service men and women.
A Sheet Metal Fabricator at RMS Owego MTA will be responsible for the fabrication of tight tolerance sheet metal panels, brackets, covers, enclosures, etc. These components may be made from aluminum, plastic, steel, and stainless steel. To be successful in this role you should be accustom building to manufacturing blue prints and have some knowledge of GD&T. You will be expected to operate shears, and Amada Turret punches and brakes.
Basic Qualifications:
To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Computer experience
• 2+ years of brake and punch operation
• Fundamental GD&T understanding

PLEASE NOTE:

• Applicants selected must successfully pass a background investigation and drug test.

Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will require US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:

• Sheet metal roller experience
• Familiarity with Amada Brake AMNCPC control units
• Manual machining experience (mill and lathe)
• Amada punch and brake usage

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
