Position: Merchandising Manager | UPF Group

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm. In Office - Wynwood

Reporting to: Director of Supply Chain


Job Summary:

· Merchandising

· Merchandising Manager owns the following metrics: Turn-Earn Index, Landed Costs vs Sales, , Weeks of Inventory, Sales Velocity.

Experience:

· Apparel Merchandising experience is required, minimum of three (3) years.

· Demand Planning and Forecasting; Retail experience a plus across multiple sales channels.

· Large SKU/Collection Management experience is required, minimum three (3) years.

· Working closely with Executive Team in dynamic environment.



Job Responsibility:

As the Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end the E-Commerce experience and performance of the User Groups you will be supporting. Your primary focus will be on stakeholder management, growth strategy, merchandising, forecasting and demand planning, analytics, performance reporting, continuous improvement programs, and inventory optimization strategy. Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:


· Merchandising

o In-depth understanding of your given User Group’s existing assortment performance, future launch support, and assortment strategy and design.

o Support timely launches and ensure optimized pricing of all items within a given User Group’s assortment.

· Stakeholder Management

o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and internal customers, to ensure smooth and efficient execution of your User Group’s business.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to foster effective communication and collaboration.

· Growth Strategy

o Develop and implement strategies to support business growth and expansion, considering factors such as market trends, customer demands, and competitive analysis.

o Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements to drive overall User Group growth.

· Forecasting

o Utilize forecasting techniques and historical data analysis to predict future demand for products or services.

o Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, enabling effective inventory management and production planning.

· Inventory Optimization

o Develop inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure product availability.

o Implement inventory control mechanisms, such as ABC analysis, safety stock optimization, and demand-driven replenishment, to achieve efficient inventory management.

· Demand Planning

o Develop and execute demand planning strategies to meet customer requirements while minimizing inventory levels and maximizing service levels.

o Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and sales data to identify demand patterns and adjust supply chain activities accordingly.

· Analytics

o Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to analyze supply chain data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

o Apply data-driven decision-making to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall operational performance.

· Continuous Improvement Programs

o Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma projects, to drive operational excellence and eliminate waste in the supply chain.

o Identify opportunities for process enhancements, implement best practices, and monitor performance to ensure sustained improvements.
