The Membership Director is responsible for the member experience, and sales operations in the organization. Their primary duties include designing and implementing sales targets, developing, and cultivating relationships with members and strategic business partners. The Membership Director is also responsible for the following: managing member data and relationships, tracking, and reporting member engagement and developing communication, sales, and market research. The Membership Director works in close collaboration with the Senior Leadership, Marketing, Medical Team, and provides leadership to ensure that all programming is aligned toward an excellent member experience and while ensuring organizational strength and health.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement member renewal, recruitment, and retention process.
- Responsible for revenue generation.
- Responsible for member engagement & satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
- Organize events for business development and member engagement.
- Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
- Implement the complete Sales Cycle process with CRM integration.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with the community (strategic partners) while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in Salesforce, HubSpot and/or Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to work in teams and provide member services during typical office hours, with rare occasions of off-hours work.
- Experience designing and implementing a complex array of programs and services.
- Understanding of organizational and program budgets, and their development.
- Prior experience in Sales.
- Bachelors in Sales and/or Marketing preferred
- Ability to lead the coordination of cross-departmental efforts.

- Experience with member organizations.
- Experience with managing vendors and contract relationships.
- Excellent relational skills, including building, nurturing, and tracking member relationships.
- Experience with, or understanding of, the field of concierge medicine and Sydenham’s practice.
- Prior hospitality experience preferred.
- Experience with strategic communications, marketing, events, and sponsorships.
- Prior experience with event management.
