Novus Surgical, Inc.is seeking highly self-motivated sales representative to join our fast-paced, dedicated team. We are a growing, dynamic orthopedic and sports medicine, independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products with expansive openings in Eastern Pennsylvania selling a full line of highly differentiated, innovative technology and disposable products.

The sales consultant will be responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within his or her team’s assigned territory. The sales consultant must establish, build, and maintain customer relations through constant communications and in-person appointments. This position is specifically responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of our market leading product portfolio. You will be consulting with surgeons in the operating room regarding the use of our implants and instruments. This position is geared for a growth oriented individual with a winning mentality.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales Consultant:

• Address and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
• Primarily responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives for the territory. Represent Novus Surgical, an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products, by working with a sophisticated audience comprised of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
• Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions as they become available.
• Responsibly maintain inventory of consigned products.
• Collect competitive data and remain current on industry, customer, and competitive trends.
• Identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses (written, telephone and face-to-face).
• Implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies to position the organization competitively and to meet/exceed territory objectives.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
• Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
• Participate in and attend sales meetings, educational labs, and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required.
• Increase territory results by building and maintaining strong business relationships, and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs.
• Work with Sales Manager by receiving coaching, training or mentoring; transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications for the Sales Consultant:

• Ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy and indications as it relates to surgery and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Background in sports, sports medicine or competition preferred
• Experience in medical sales or orthopedic experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments
• Knowledge and background in human anatomy a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
