Job Title: Medical Secretaries

Client: State of Florida

Location: (Onsite) - Florida 10+ Locations

Pay rate: $19 per hour on W2.

Duration: 5+ Months Contract

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete annual medical recertification process of SMMC Long-Term Care enrollees

Make medical eligibility recommendations for long-term care services.

Ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.

Input assessment data into Client Information & Registration Tracking System (CIRTS)

Monitor and prioritize cases assigned through an annual recertification process.

Attendance is an essential function of this position.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED:

Experience in the social science, human services, or a related field, such as a case manager or social worker

Experience working with medical records.

Knowledge of confidentiality requirements

Knowledge of basic medical terminology

Knowledge of the aging process and effects of chronic illness

Excellent data entry skills

Experience using Microsoft Windows - Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint

Ability to demonstrate a professional and courteous demeanor to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the public and staff.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must meet the minimum qualification of:

A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field,

OR

Professional experience totaling four (4) or more years in a related field

OR

A combination of education and professional experience totaling four (4) or more years in a related field.

Skills Required / Desired Amount

Ability to speak and understand English: Required

Experience working with medical records: Required - 1 Year
