: JOB SUMMARY:: A Medical Records Specialist is responsible for maintaining resident healthcare information and records for our Skilled Nursing Facility. This position will focus on ensuring the facility is meeting HIPAA requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Copy 24 hour report to all departments
• Run MDS due and completed reports
• Longevity Bonuses
• Review all treatment and medication books and update physician orders
• Medical, Dental, Vision
• Quarterly Vacation Drawing
• Uniform Fund
• Input telephone orders
• 401K
• Organize charts for new admissions and enter into EHR system
• Organize discharge charts
