What you will do
- Field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members
- Read maps, and route configuration
- Record transactions and issues on customer receipts
- Provide customer service in surface transportation
- Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
- Performs and/or schedules preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle, (fuel, fluid levels, tires, etc.), and keeps accurate maintenance records. Advises supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle.
- Create and/or review lists of delivery and pick-ups
- Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations
- Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products
- Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record
- Prepare, ship, receive and schedule delivery of products; ensure timely delivery of sets and pick up/return loaner sets; field customer questions and direct to appropriate branch personnel
- While representing Stryker you will be responsible for the distribution and delivery of products/services for our representatives and customers
- Perform safety inspections in transportation setting
- Organize, retrieve or place goods from/into stock received via multiple sources.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Implement and support Quality initiatives throughout branch.
- Coordinate Drivers and routes - shipments, etc.
- Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.
- Maintain account records, reporting and filing.
- Inspect products or materials for damage, defects, or shortages.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment., inventory for expiration dates, etc.
- Set up and organize the warehouse for incoming and outgoing surgery shipments.
- Manage inventories by tracking inventory records reflecting product movement, notifying departments when supplies of specific items are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies.
- Investigate customer complaints.
- Compile and inspect incoming/outgoing kits for compliance with specifications and usage.
- Confer with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel in order to expedite or trace deliveries.
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule.
- Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products.
What you need
- High school education or GED equivalent
- Delivery, warehouse, inventory, logistics, customer service, or medical field experience preferred
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
- 2+ Years of experience required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lb
