Job Overview
Inspects and repairs non-clinical equipment for compliance to documented safety and performance standards. Maintains one or more of the following: Refrigeration repair, Gas Appliance Repair, Stryker Factory Bed Repair. Provides mentoring and support to a supervisor in day to day activities.

Qualifications
EDUCATION – High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE – 5 years’ experience in medical, industrial, or commercial job related field (minimum of 1 year of hospital related experience).
EQUIVALENCY - GED
CERTIFICATION(S) – One or more of the following: Refrigeration, Gas Appliance Repair, Stryker Factory Bed Repair.
Responsibilities
POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE
- No direct patient care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Communicates appropriately with all staff, vendors and customers; provides project updates to supervisor.
- Performs repairs, inspections, and provides regularly scheduled maintenance on support equipment, specializing in preventative maintenance and on-demand repairs of clinical support equipment to include, but not limited to: beds, cribs, stretchers, refrigerators, freezers, ice and water machines, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, other kitchen related equipment, CHCO owned vehicles, and exterior spaces equipment.
- Documents work activities according to department policies, professional standards of practice, and organizational standards.
- Inspects equipment for compliance to documented safety and performance standards.
- Utilize the appropriate technical documentation and parts, when performing necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Perform training sessions for other colleagues to ensure continuity of care throughout Facilities Operations.

Salary Information
Hourly Salary Range: $25.20 to $37.79
