THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE. MUST BE LOCAL TO INDIANAPOLIS, IN 46241

PAY: $22-$29/HR

CONTRACT: 1 YEAR (LOOKING TO POSSIBILY EXTEND OR CONVERT)

Description:

• Creating detailed material requirements plans for each component whether raw material supplied by external or internal vendors, intermediate products, or shipping items produced internally to the Site and communicating priorities through production schedules, supplier schedules or pulls mechanisms.
• Order Management: verifies material availability, documentation readiness and confirmation of deliveries to site
• Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and drive for continuous improvement.
• Ensure the stock for incoming materials are available and managed (safety stock and cycle count management)
• Coordinate with warehouse and Quality department to ensure the relevant activities are completed in line with the production needs.
• Manage planning and logistics for sample testing at external test sites
• Ensure material availability in line with the approved production plan
• Ensure daily MRP oversight for all Bill of Material items, analysis of requirements
• Material planner recognizes, analyzes, influences, and consolidates all demand signals into a complete demand plan for the assigned area of focus.
• Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliation of raw materials in Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Own MRP relevant data and materials technical specifications.
• Manage planning and execution of material transfer between different sites for commercial and clinical needs
• Control and follow-up of supplier’s service level indicators: Quality OTIF, lead-time violation.

Requirements:

• Problem solving ability in cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
• Proficient with MS Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• APICS certification
• Operating with integrated ERP tools preferably with D365.
• Highly organized with strong orientation process / project management orientation
• 3-5 years’ experience in similar role
• Demonstrates strong personal ethics and responsibility to purpose
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on demand.
