Job Description

Our client, a leading and innovative player in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, is seeking an experienced and talented Material Scientist to join their research and development team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a prestigious organization in the rapidly growing EV market.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research and development on advanced materials for electric vehicle applications, including battery technology, lightweight materials, thermal management, conductive materials, and corrosion-resistant materials.
  2. Design and perform experiments to evaluate material properties, performance, and suitability for specific EV applications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and manufacturing professionals, to develop and optimize materials and components for electric vehicles.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in material science and electric vehicles, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the company.
  5. Contribute to the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials and recycling processes for electric vehicle components.
  6. Document research findings, prepare technical reports, and present results to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  7. Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay informed about emerging technologies and establish a strong network within the EV community.


Qualifications:

  1. A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in material science, preferably within the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
  3. Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas relevant to electric vehicle materials, such as battery technology, lightweight materials, thermal management, conductive materials, or corrosion resistance.
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present complex technical information to non-experts.
  6. A strong track record of research, patents, or publications in the field of material science.
  7. A passion for sustainability, innovation, and the future of electric vehicles.
