Exante Data is looking for an individual to work with the CEO and Exante Data’s global team analysts on the strategic planning, execution, and implementation of marketing activities, including social media strategy. The candidate will manage and execute day-to-day marketing responsibilities including social media content creation/management.
We generate a lot of world-class analytical content for our institutional clients, and are looking for an individual with a background or interest in economics/finance/markets to help edit and post engaging content and narratives on social media using our existing work, coupled with the news cycle in media and FinTwit.In addition, the person who has this position will be playing a key role in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for our target audience and expanding our social media following.
The individual must work New York (EST) mornings as that is when our audience is most active on social media in the financial twitter space and when media interviews generally take place. We are looking for a team player (preferably with a genuine interest in financial markets) willing to work collaboratively with our global team of strategists and technology staff to promote our brand.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing, social media and communications strategies.
Ensure consistent branding standards across company websites (public and client facing), social media platforms, digital marketing communications and events.
Gather and curate content published by/for external sources citing Exante Data
Research and use best practices for online content and engagement
Create marketing collateral, digital design, video for publication as needed
Run and monitor all social media accounts related to Exante Data products and services
Ensure content is on brand, appropriate and timely
Track analytics for marketing and strategic purposes
Applies knowledge to increase the effective use of social media at the Company.
Assists with new business opportunities and meeting booklets, proposals, presentations, etc.
Qualifications
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team on several projects concurrently
Experience with social media platforms Twitter and LinkedIn
Strong writing and oral communication skills
Skills And Abilities
Ability to work with internal stakeholders (and external stakeholders where appropriate) to gather appropriate inputs to inform and deliver the strategy materials or other marketing projects.
Ability to create content in accordance with existing brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all platforms
Ability to motivate or influence inside senior level personnel, requiring a significant level of influence and trust.
Extremely strong written abilities, with consideration of creative writing preferred.
Ability to work independently with a high level of critical thinking skills.
Comfortable with new digital technology, social media, and reporting.
Ability to think strategically, but be willing and able to roll up sleeves to help implement the programs.
Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment; ability to listen, evaluate different viewpoints and influence others.
Strong time management skills. Ability to work under pressure.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to understand complex projects.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, to manage multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities.
Awareness of macro-economic themes is a plus.
Education and Experience
Degree in marketing or communications, with few years of marketing or communications/ related experience preferred
Experience with web editing, Google ads and analytics, and SEO a plus
Proficiency in Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software
For NYC Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $65k, with potential for performance based bonus. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
