- Manages the Marketing team: hires, assigns, schedules, trains, motivates, submits payroll and evaluates
- Partners with senior leadership in the store to execute a comprehensive marketing strategy and budget designed to drive awareness, traffic and sales
- Protects Eataly’s brand and ensures marketing activities and promotions are properly communicated both internally and externally through graphics and PR content
- Collaborates interdepartmentally to plan and execute in-store, public and private events
- Produces all store-related social media content with the goal of growing the Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts: creates copy and images, manages a weekly editorial and engagement strategy
- Analyzes performance and reports progress to senior leadership on a weekly basis
- Manages relationships with celebrity chefs, business partners, producers, local organizations, public entities
- Collaborates with the Corporate Marketing team to create and execute the full 360 Communications Plans for local and national initiatives tied to the marketing calendar of campaigns including earned/paid influencers, PR, social media, website, newsletter and community platforms
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Collaborates with the corporate marketing team to understand and define national marketing programs and develop related local marketing activities
- Fluency in Italian language preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and business management skills
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, with prior managerial experience
- Experience in the food and beverage industry, ideally in Italian cuisine
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and culture preferred
- Knowledge of and contacts in the food industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
