The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.

SUMMARY
The Marketing Intern, CP Latin America will work towards helping our team drive adoption of Dolby technologies in customer accounts and the entertainment ecosystem. The role will support our existing sales teams and the licensing operations team to complete licensing and onboarding process for identified customer accounts and assist in customer marketing activities. Success will be reflected in customer recognition about Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos value proposition. The Marketing Intern closely works with our managers in sales, engineering, marketing, in region consultants and sales operations to support all regional marketing initiatives. We are seeking someone with the right mix of passion, drive to get things done, relationship skills, strategic insight, analytical ability, and creativity. The successful intern will be an organized, self-starter, with a desire to be managing partner activities and/or events, supporting sales or marketing organizations in the fast-paced technology industry. This position is an ideal role for someone who enjoys supporting a fun team and is eager to learn about Dolby, technology, customer management and marketing and more. The position requires an individual that is resourceful and can work autonomously, take initiative and demonstrate excellent follow through. There maybe be some travel required to Miami, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia or Argentina, often customer facing. Candidate will work closely with Account Leads to prioritize work, provide guidance, and ultimately support the wider team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support customers in adoption and implementing Dolby technologies into their products.
  • Learn the overall consumer electronics and entertainment market, understand Dolby’s technologies and how we fit into complex ecosystems.
  • Perform additional daily tasks as requested.
  • Build relationships across the Dolby organization and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Interact with customers, learn and understand customer needs, and identify how Dolby can add value.
  • Co-ordinate with Marketing teams to support and partner with customer accounts in marketing activities and customer communication.
  • Presentation development and delivery to stakeholders.
  • Work with the CP Latin America Sales and Licensing Operations team on supporting activities and initiatives in customer accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Studying for Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Holds themselves accountable for delivering on goals and commitment.
• Desire for experience supporting customers and events in a fast-paced high-tech environment.• Interest in consumer technology and/or the entertainment industry.
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, and comfortable wearing many hats.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative team player who can build strong relationships.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

ELIGIBILITY
Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field;
recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work
full-time Monday-Friday for 6 months between September 2023 – March 2024.
Start date for the internship is as follows:

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $28-$33/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
